Randy Dobbs is Chief Executive Officer for Matrix Medical Network. As CEO, Mr. Dobbs provides strategic vision, leadership mentoring, and organizational direction and guidance for this company whose performance has been characterized by double-digit growth and service expansion. Over the course of his career, Mr. Dobbs has risen from an entry level position on the floor of a manufacturing plant to top leadership positions in the manufacturing, national security, and healthcare industries. He was a Senior Operating Executive with private equity firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe before joining Matrix in early 2012. Prior to that, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer for US Investigations Services, Inc. (USIS) – a $750 million national security and employment screening corporation. Earlier in his career, Mr. Dobbs was President and Chief Executive Officer for Philips Medical Systems, North America, where he oversaw a field sales and service organization of more than 5,500 people with revenues in excess of $3.3 billion focused on providing service solutions to private, public, and government institutions. Before Philips Medical, Mr. Dobbs was President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Capital, IT Solutions, where he was honored with General Eectric’s “Turnaround Business of the Year Award.” During his GE career, he also served as an Officer of the global corporation.
A distinguished graduate of many of GE’s internationally recognized business development programs, Mr. Dobbs also holds a degree from Arkansas State University. He is the author of Transformational Leadership: A Blueprint for Real Organizational Change, which details Mr. Dobbs’ proven strategic business tools and transformational leadership ideas to create a business environment characterized by operational excellence, financial performance, and overall growth.
Mr. Dobbs serves as a director on the board of two separate mortgage Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT) under that management of American Capital Agency Corporation: NASDAQ listed REIT’s AGNC and MTGE. He is also on the board of directors of Peak 10, which provides tailored, reliable cloud solutions and other information technology infrastructure services for mid-market businesses. A resident of Greenville, S.C., Mr. Dobbs is an active member of several community organizations, mentors small business start-ups, and participates in educational support activities for Clemson University.
