Serving the Upstate

Little Steps is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive services to teen and young parents.  We offer an environment of encouragement and accountability to help young mothers and fathers become more confident, self-sufficient parents.  We accomplish this through four unique components:

  •  Pregnancy, Parenting & Life Skills Classes
  •  Peer Groups
  •  One-on-One Mentoring
  •  Parent-Child Enrichment Activities

Parents are encouraged to participate in all four components to receive the most benefit.  Our program is designed to provide the resources and positive support to foster nurturing environments and strengthen each participant's ability to more independently provide for themselves and their children.

Our Goals:

  • Help the members of our program become self-sufficient, healthy, confident parents
  •  Reduce the teen pregnancy rate in Greenville County
  •  Increase awareness in our community of the realities of teen pregnancy
  •  Increase the high school graduation rate of teen parents in Greenville County

We have a need for volunteers and members to serve on our Board of Directors.  We welcome any assistance that you can offer to our organization.  Please visit our website at or contact us at 864-243-8694 to learn about the opportunities that will best fit you, your business, church or other community group.
