GE Power & Water's Greenville site is dedicated to high-efficiency and high-reliability design, state-of-the-art manufacturing and innovative advances in power generation for heavy-duty gas and 1.5 megawatt wind turbines. A core component of Energy’s Power Generation business, Greenville is a center of excellence of gas turbine design and also contributes engineering expertise to Wind, and the Energy Services businesses.
GE Aviation also has two functions here, an airfoils manufacturing operation, and the Repair Development Center. The site encompasses 413 acres with 1,350,000 square feet of manufacturing space, comprising the world’s largest gas turbine plant. Our manufacturing operation has earned a reputation for the highest quality and for an unwavering commitment to customer fulfillment. Over 1,000 of the world’s finest engineers in leading-edge compression and turbine technology focus on aerodynamics, high-temperature materials, repair engineering, wind turbine technology and the advanced H technology.
