Attendees will move to the theatre for the keynote presentation at 6pm.
At 7:15 we will move everyone back into the rotunda area for more networking, heavy hors’ douerves and beer and wine. Nido Qubein will be available for a meet and greet at this time as well.
The evening will commence at 8:30pm.
The annual CEO Connection gives business owners and community leaders the opportunity to come together for peer-to-peer networking and features a keynote presentation designed to inspire, motivate and educate the business community.
This is an opportunity to look at regional efforts for insight into collaboration between educational institutions and business endeavors. This year’s speaker will draw a large diverse audience of business owners and CEOs. Dr. Nido Qubein’s life has been an amazing success story. As an educator, he is president of High Point University, an undergraduate and graduate institution with 4,000 students. He has authored two dozen books and audio programs distributed worldwide. As a business leader, he is chairman of Great Harvest Bread Company with 220 stores in 43 states. He serves on the boards of several national organizations including BB&T (a Fortune 500 company with $175 billion-dollars in assets), the La-Z-Boy Corporation (one of the largest and most recognized furniture brands worldwide) and Dots Stores (a chain of fashion boutiques with more than 400 locations across the country.) As a professional speaker, Dr. Qubein has received many distinctions including the Golden Gavel Medal, induction into the International Speaker Hall of Fame and is the founder of the prestigious National Speakers Foundation in Phoenix, Arizona. He is in high demand to speak to business and professional groups each year. He has been the recipient of many honors including the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, the Horatio Alger Award for Distinguished Americans, the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, Sales and Marketing International's Ambassador of Free Enterprise, Citizen of the Year and Philanthropist of the Year in his home city of High Point, North Carolina, and dozens more.
